The Postal Service announces April 19 Las Vegas date

Fabled indie act The Postal Service has announced its first tour dates in a decade, and Las Vegas has made the cut.
The group—led by Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard and Dntel's Jimmy Tamborello—will play the Cosmopolitan's Chelsea Ballroom on Friday, April 19. Tickets are on sale now here.
The Postal Service released sole album Give Up in 2003, toured briefly and has been silent ever since. The group will be part of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival two-weekend lineup and has built a series of dates around those appearances, including Reno (April 9); Davis, California (April 10); San Luis Obispo, California (April 12); and Phoenix (April 18).
The press release for the tour promises that "Gibbard and Tamborello will be reuniting on the road with a band fleshed out by Jenny Lewis (Jenny & Johnny, Rilo Kiley) and Laura Burhenn (Mynabirds, Bright Eyes)."
