The Lohan School of Shaolin performed a traditional lion dance to mark the start of the Las Vegas Spring Festival. But before the lion dance began, 5-year-old Xavier Baugh stepped to the front of the 3rd Street Stage on Fremont Street, encouraged and cheered on by his grandfather, Steven Baugh, the founder and master instructor of the Lohan School. “Sometimes he dances, and sometimes he refuses,” said Steven. “You never know what he’s going to do.” Xavier wowed the crowd with his solo dance as the cutest lion, helping usher in the Year of the Water Snake.
