There are few more divisive comics in the industry than Bill Maher, and starting this year the Real Time host begins a Palms residency.
Maher’s will perform the following dates in the Pearl Concert Theater: March 23-24, June 8-9, September 6-7 and November 2-3. Showtimes are 8 p.m., and tickets, which start at $45, go on sale at noon Friday, January 11. To purchase tickets, call 944-3200 or go to ticketmaster.com.
The left-leaning Maher’s political views have gotten him in trouble more than once, most notoriously an ABC’s Politically Incorrect, which was eventually canceled. But Maher has lost none of his steam, attacking religion while championing the environmental movement and the legalization of marijuana on his long-running, no-holds-barred show.
We just have one request for Bill: Could you please bring your “New Rules” along with you? That’d be great.
