Punk Rock Bowling has rolled out its first round of 2013 details, and its third Downtown Las Vegas installment looks like another strike.
The first set of confirmed bands includes Bad Religion, The Damned, D.R.I., Lagwagon, Subhumans, Bouncing Souls, Swingin' Utters and Lower Class Brats. And, at the top of the poster: Flag, a tribute to iconic SoCal hardcore outfit Black Flag, featuring former members Keith Morris (the band's original vocalist), bassist Chuck Dukowski and drummer Bill Stevenson, along with Descendents guitarist Stephen Egerton (note: no involvement from longtime guitarist and songwriter Greg Ginn).
The fest's 15th annual edition will take place May 25-27, with club shows—venues and acts to be announced—scheduled for May 24-27.
Tickets for the three-day outdoor festival, priced at $105, go on sale Tuesday, January 29 at 1 p.m. through official site Punkrockbowling.com.
The bowling portion of the weekend's festivities will take place at Sam's Town and the Gold Coast. Registration is open to returning bowlers from January 14 through February 15, with a waiting list available for new teams hoping to compete.
Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
