It’s already summer for Light Group, which is opening up Liquid at Aria and Bare at the Mirage on Thursday, March 14. What to expect from them in 2013? Liquid will feature an opening-day set from DJ Que, and DJ E-Rock (who spins at sister club Haze) has been added to the fun of Social Sundays—so get your hashtags ready and don’t drop your phone into the pool. Over at Bare, they’ll continue the war on tan lines with spring-break parties from March 14 through April 5. And that’s just the beginning: This week, Light Group also announced the May 25 opening of Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay, a 50,000-square-foot Ibiza-inspired pool club that will transition from day to night to the sounds of resident DJs like Skrillex, Axwell, Alesso and Sebastian Ingrosso.
Marquee is feeling the love with a whopping 12-weekend residency from EDM superstar Kaskade. The Summer Lovin’ series brings the Grammy-nominated DJ to both the nightclub and dayclub for 24 performances from May to August. Nab the "All Summer Long" package for $900 and you can skip the line at every show, plus you get a fancy “commemorative mailed ticket package.” But that’s not all, high-roller: Two more packages offer all of the above, plus two nights at a Cosmopolitan terrace suite each weekend (regular or wraparound), open bar for two, and personal hosts at both the hotel and the clubs. Depending on the suite, that’ll run you $18,500 or $25,000. You give a lot of love, you get a lot of love.
Hyde Bellagio might just fill the shamrock-shaped void left in our hearts left by O’Sheas and Fitzgeralds closing. The next XIV Vegas Sessions falls on St. Patrick’s Day, and the party series known for crazy, immersive themes is going all-out with the green. Hyde is promising champagne showers, “provocative leprechauns” and DJ sets from Julien Nolan, Zen Freeman and D4N13L.
