Las Vegas nightclubs already spare no expense to show you a good time. But cast your eyes skyward and behold a king's ransom in Baccarat crystal, LED-reactive paint, intelligent lighting and brilliant baubles. Kind of makes your average dining room chandelier look like a solitary tea light. Nightclub chandeliers are where excess meets elegance. And the Weekly sees the light!

1. The largest of Eve’s five chandeliers (valued at $35,000) is specially painted to absorb and reflect the LED lighting that changes its color and thus, the club’s mood.

2. Of Tao’s eight chandeliers, the largest, created by La Murrina, can be found over the dance floor.

3. Weighing in at 800 pounds, XS’ disco chandelier contains 30,000 one-inch, hand-cut and applied gold mirror tiles; the crystal drops are Swarovski. The stunning centerpiece was designed by Roger Thomas for Wynn Resorts and manufactured by Alger International.

4. Mark Tracy of Chemical Spaces created and hand-painted Wasted Space’s three chandeliers.

5. Vanity’s million dollar “Cyclone” chandelier is lit from within by 20,000 LED lights that can change color and even broadcast images.

6. Three hundred crème-colored fabric and wire lanterns form Blush’s color-fluctuating ceiling-sculpture designed by Wynn’s Executive Vice President of Design, Roger Thomas.

7. Lavo’s partners traveled the world for inspiration. Created by the same artist who does all the lighting for the King of Morocco, Lavo’s chandelier has since moved from the restaurant to the nightclub.

8. Each of the Playboy Club’s four Philippe Starck-designed Baccarat crystal chandeliers is valued at $83,000.

9. Jet’s unique light panel ceiling—an alternative sort of horizontal chandelier, if you think about it—was designed by Jeffery Beers, along with the rest of the club.

10. The Bank’s feminine, curvy dance floor chandeliers were designed along with the rest of the club by iCrave.

11. The jumbo black lacquer and crystal shaded lamp in Privé’s entrance rotunda measures 15 feet by 9 feet.

12. Five of the six handmade chandeliers created from the 2009 Academy Awards curtains made it to Beso’s ceiling; the ill-fated sixth can be found in the fire pit.

13. The Artisan Lounge contains nine twinkling chandeliers, the restaurant 10, and the lobby 12—if you count the ones at the front desk. Which we do.

14. Nectaly Mendoza’s Herbs & Rye mixology bar and Italian restaurant on West Sahara is lit by nine identical chandeliers.
