Who wears short shorts? Manufactured Superstars wear short shorts.

Manufactured Superstars at Tao Confused as to why you didn’t get to see B-Rad and Sabotage (also known as Brad Roulier and Shawn Sabo from Beatport) open for Sander van Doorn last week? They weren’t actually there. But they’ve rescheduled for this week and should have their astronaut suits back from the cleaners in time for a high-energy, four-hour set. November 18, doors at 10 p.m., $10 and up, free for locals.

Ty Pinney benefit at Crown BlkHeart Group & Dirty Blender present a “Not So Silent Auction” to help out with the medical bills Pinney, a BMX rider, has accumulated since crashing his bike at TJ Lavin’s house only days before Lavin himself was injured during the Dew Tour. Bands I Am Cassettes, Destruction of a Rose and Sprockets perform, plus a DJ set by M!KEATTACK. Auction and raffle items include products from Cynergy Cycles, Atticus Clothing, So So Happy, Skelanimals, Malus Clothing, Vans Warped Tour, Third Degree Merch, Ernie Ball and more. November 18, doors at 9:30 p.m., suggested $20 donation.

Mateo at Revolution The Next Big Thing party continues at the Beatles Revolution Lounge. Get to know up-and-coming star Mateo. November 18, doors at 10 p.m., $20.

Jungle Beats at Krave The theme parties get better and better over at the only gay club on the Strip. Look for giant monkeys (?!), aerialists swinging like Tarzan from vines and the whole club transformed with decorations. Tunes provided by DJ Morningstar. November 20, doors at 10:30 p.m., $20, no cover for locals before 12:30 a.m.

Bam Margera at Lavo We’re not sure what’ll happen when the Jackass star hits a Vegas nightclub. Will he shoot cocktail olives out his nose? Strip down and lounge around with the nearly nude models? Light something on fire? Charge the camera phone and don’t miss a night with potential to become the next YouTube sensation. November 20, doors at 11 p.m., $20 and up.

Flash at Blue Martini The new Sunday night event kicks off this week with sounds by resident DJ Purple and guests Steve Walker and DeMarco Cruz. Stop by for a whole lotta house ranging from deep to tech, minimal, progressive and even some reggae thrown in. First 100 attendees receive a free CD. And say “DJ Purple” at the door for a complimentary cocktail. November 21, doors at 10 p.m., free.

Thanks-Spinning with DJ Jazzy Jeff If you’re still associating Jeff with the Fresh Prince, it’s time you take your ass to the Palms and check out the legendary DJ’s set. Once you hear the master turntablist, you’ll have something to be thankful for. So get your wobble on before you get your gobble on. He’ll also spin at Rain on Friday, November 26. November 23, doors at 11 p.m., $20, local ladies free.

Carpe Noctem anniversary at Goodtimes The edgy side of the scene celebrates a year of bringing the city something for goth, industrial and cyber punk fans.
