It’s safe to say Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are having a good week—following the duo’s Grammy sweep Sunday night, the pair has signed on for an upcoming Vegas residency at Encore.
The Best New Artist winners have inked an exclusive residency deal to perform at Surrender and Encore Beach Club from May through September, MTV News reports.
Lewis will also DJ several solo dates at the clubs, beginning with a set this Saturday at Surrender and continuing with slots on May 23, July 2 and July 26.
Residency is, however, a somewhat loose term here: The Seattle hitmakers are thus far scheduled to play just three shows as a duo, with dates stretched out over three major summer holiday weekends. Their first joint gig is slated for Surrender over Memorial Day Weekend on May 25, followed by shows on July 4 and September 16 (Mexican Independence Day) at Encore Beach Club.
Requests for comment from the Wynn clubs have not been returned, though Lewis is currently listed among the property’s resident DJs on the Wynn Social website.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have quickly become Vegas club staples since the release of their debut, The Heist, in 2012, and were enlisted by Surrender this summer to help host the club's third anniversary party.
