Image
Chromeo is just one of the many EDM DJs lined up for the Love Festival at the Palms.

So many DJs, so little time. Memorial Day weekend (May 27-29) is on its way and bringing with it the 2011 edition of the Love Festival at the Palms. Jam-packed with resident and guest DJs, the lineup includes Paul Oakenfold, Felix da Housecat, Diplo, Morgan Page, Green Velvet, Dave Fogg and Chromeo. Marquee at the Cosmopolitan fires back with The Captains of Industry, EC Twins, Markus Schulz, Roger Sanchez, Above & Beyond, Cedric Gervais, ATB, Fat Boy Slim and more. XS has Deadmau5 and A-Trak, while Surrender and Encore Beach Club spotlight Afrojack, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Lil Jon and Feed Me. Take that, South Beach and Ibiza!

Thursdays just got a little hotter. Eve at Crystals launches the weekly House of Eve featuring house DJs like Scooter and Lavelle on March 31, Judge Jules on April 7, DJ Rap on April 14 and Steve Smooth on April 21. Across the street at Cosmo, Comme Ça introduces its View Thursdays on April 7. The party, sponsored by Moët Hennessy and Grand Marnier liqueur, kicks off at 10 p.m. and features specialty cocktails. Plus, ladies in groups of six or more receive a complimentary bottle of sparkling rose champagne.

Rhumbar’s Summer Nights return April 4 with a weekly lineup of entertainment, cigars, hookahs and cocktails. Among the nightly parties are Pink Sugar Jam Mondays featuring DJ Mika Gold, Havanatone Wednesdays Latin night, Puff ’n’ Pulse Thursdays with a Caribbean theme and cigars, Take It Back Fridays with an ’80s and ’90s soundtrack and Circus Sundays.

Off the Strip at M Resort’s Hostile Grape, the Rock ’n’ Roll Wine Tasting Room and Sound Bar kicks off April 1 at 5 p.m. Wine pairings, interactive wine showdowns and entertainment collide every Friday, with live music commencing at 9:30 p.m.
