Accessible only by private elevator, the Foundation Room sits atop the Mandalay Bay on the 43rd floor and is a members-only club every day except Mondays. Godspeed Mondays welcomes Las Vegas locals and visitors to a night hosted by DJs Guy Williams and L-1 who spin a collection of Top 40, ‘80s, ‘90s and trance. The festivities get started at 11 p.m. Selected as "Best View of the Strip" in Las Vegas Life’s 2005 "Vegas 100" issue, the view alone may be worth the cover charge, which runs $30 for out-of-towners and $10 for locals. Authentic artifacts from India and Tibet, intricately carved wood-paneled walls, lush fabrics and soft lighting lend an Eastern, mystical ambiance.
