Fremont Hotel and Casino is most notable for its colorful entrance and central downtown location on Fremont Street. The hotel opened in 1956 and was the city's first high-rise hotel.
The casino has more than 1,000 slots, 29 gaming tables and a 42-seat race and sports book. The hotel has 447 spacious rooms.
