Home-style dishes emphasize the appetizers known as mezze, like manakeesh, a tasty thyme- and sesame-topped flatbread, or kibbi, bulgur wheat torpedoes stuffed with spiced ground beef. You can't go wrong with any of the meaty kebobs, or delicious side dishes such as stewed okra.

It has been close to 5 years since we last dined at this small family owned/operated Lebanese restaurant. I had a Groupon good for 2 glasses of wine (merlot) and 2 entrees. We also shared a Greek salad and a complimentary fresh pita, direct from the oven, with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. My wife ordered moussaka which was very good while I tried the lamb shawarma.
I have had this dish at two other restaurants and have finally come to the conclusion that I just don't like it.
