This high-end resort glimmers like gold bullion underneath the desert sun. Mandalay Bay is one of the largest hotels on the Strip with 4,000-plus rooms, 2,000 slot machines and 200 gaming tables. Connected to Mandalay is THEhotel, a hotel tower that offers guests luxurious upscale and contemporary suites.
The resort gives its guests a taste of paradise with its 11-acre Mandalay Bay Beach that contains: three pools, a lazy river, a topless pool and a 1.6 million gallon wave pool with a sandy beach attached. Along with the 157,024-square foot casino, guests can also enjoy the attractions like the Shark Reef, Disney's live production of "The Lion King" or a live show at The House of Blues.
Mandalay Bay also offers a plethora of dining experiences that include the elegant Fleur de Lys and futuristic China Grill. The Red Square offers a small piece of proletarian Russia, complete with a headless Lenin statue.
There are 41 high-end shops offered at the Mandalay Place, a shopping mall that connects Mandalay Bay to Luxor. Because it wouldn't be Las Vegas without nightclubs, the three-tiered rumjungle night club has the world's largest rum bar, a wall of fire, melodic waterfalls and aerialists flying through the air.
