Old Las Vegas thrives at the Sahara Hotel and Casino. The Moroccan-themed Sahara was once the famous hang-out of the Rat Pack and even appeared in the 1960’s film “Ocean’s 11” starring Frank Sinatra.
This 60s theme carries over into the casino with the Beatles-inspired Penny Lane slot machines, the casino is also home to a non-smoking poker room and a 35-seat sports book.
Sahara’s dining choices range from gourmet steakhouse House of Lords to the NASCAR Café with car-racing memorabilia throughout the space.
If the NASCAR Café is not enough, there is also the Las Vegas Cyber Speedway, which puts guests behind the wheel of a virtual-reality Indy race. After all the fun activities Sahara has to offer, guests can relax at one of the cabanas surrounding the spacious 5,000-square-foot pool. The hotel is also a station for the Las Vegas Monorail.
