Summertime in Sin City means it’s time to get your tan on—provided there is a pool nearby. You could chill out alone on your cheapo plastic lounge chair in the backyard or, for the same price (free), you could go to the Venus pool at Caesar’s Palace’s Garden of the Gods pool complex. As you relax on an elegant chaise lounge surrounded by lush vegetation and Romanesque architecture, “goddesses” will bring you iced towels, mango mojitos, frozen grapes and Evian face spritzers. When in Rome, sunbathe like the Romans—with flat screen TVs, massages and a full lunch and drink menu. To completely immerse yourself in European decadence, go topless—it’s allowed (perhaps encouraged). There is a cover charge on Saturdays, when a live DJ gets the crowd in club mode. Pure isn’t too far away—the temple where gods and goddesses go to worship the night.
