Orchestra being assembled to back Jerry Lewis for 'You'll Never Walk Alone' in MDA Telethon send-off

Representatives of Jerry Lewis have said reports of his returning to the Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon are false. If so, why is an orchestra being summoned to perform with him for the Labor Day showcase at South Point?
