Yes, I know I've referred to you in the past. But...with this article, I didn't agree with you in the least. I thought it was a hatchet job. You took one statement for your thesis and decided to run with it....blowing it way out of proportion. Thank you for absolutely no publicity with those links...I don't think I discredited you...I think several of us discredited this article. Basically you're a fine writer, but this piece hit a bad note with me and others....it was over the top wrong.

My community is big and varied. Yes, some of us are more passionate than others and that's okay. I probaby bring in more readers than you do. When you brag about lear jets, celebrities, and big executives you supposedly interview you only come off as pompous and narcissistic. It doesn't mean you know the full, true story of anything. Only of what they want you to know or what they want you to see. So I'm not really impressed with your journalistic brouhaha. My site is meant to be an online scrapbook of everything Bette Midler. I do it for the fans and they have been more than appreciative over the years. But it's just a record of the good, bad, and ugliness that you sometimes run into in show business. I thought your article was just uncalled for by taking a simple comment and blowing it out of proportion. That's all....

I don't think the Bette fans and Cher fans are crazy at all....we just smell bad journalism when we read it. Deal with it and think again before you do another hatchet piece on someone. Who knows who'll be reading?
