Only allowing female patrons on these platforms and stripper poles is discrimination against men. Now that female patrons are also prohibited from these pedestals, we are one step closer to true social equality between both genders. So why would people get upset over this? After all, isn't equality what women have been demanding for decades?

Allowing only women up on these dance platforms and stripper poles in clubs is discrimination against men. That to me is not "female empowerment," because you can't achieve a worthy ends with an unworthy means. In other words, let's empower women by discriminating against men. So, to take that away is justice, because it helps achieve gender equality. If female patrons are going to be allowed up there, then male patrons should be allowed up there too. If not, then no patrons should be allowed up there.
