My family visited recently & stayed at the South Point. We decided to eat at Baja Miguels and were all disappointed. First the server refused to take drink orders because our full party had not arrived. Then the chips and salsa (if you can call it that) were served. The salsa reminded me of tomato paste that was watered down with canned diced tomatoes. No one ate it. My dad is a very small eater and only wanted 2 tacos alacarte. He was told that he could not order that way. I asked for a cup of soup and was told it did not come with my meal so I would have to order a bowl, which I did. Again, more thinned out tomato paste with some noodles. It was disgusting. Next the server dumped a pitcher of water on my grandson (in his stroller). She left it for the busser to clean up and never even bothered to acknowledge the accident. Then as we were leaving my aunt asked for a glass for her margarita and was told she could take the drink out. My uncle however was not allowed to take out his plain iced tea. Bad food, bad service & manners, bad policies. I know why they didn't have very many customers.

Cheap food, good margaritas and 5 star service. I am a vegetarian and when I told the server she recommended several choices. I choose a vegetable enchilada and even had a choice of the veggies. I opted for a broccoli, cauliflower mix with no cheese. The server even offered to bake some of the corn chips so that I could enjoy the salsa. The veggies were tender, the sauce was flavorful and I was able to enjoy my meal without feeling like I had been a bother to the server. It was great and I will make Super Mex a regular eatery.
