It was an "America's" Best DJ award. Oakenfold is British so he's not eligible. Just give Z-Trip a chance. You may be surprised.

Posted on: DJ Z-Trip confirmed as new Friday resident at Rain

ZTrip is an awesome DJ. I hate mashups, but what he does shouldn't even be called mashup, just badass. He does everything live and doesn't play the same songs as all the other "mashup" guys out there. Saw him at Rain last month before Oakenfold went on and was very impressed. I'll def check him out many more times. Great choice, Palms.
