I'm going to check out those bands waytojoe... although I'm already familiar with Dinner Music For The Gods... I'm including them in my post about Vegas bands that don't suck.

If these 10 acts are the future of Las Vegas music, I fear for this city. I hope most of them get their production and mixing down better because the stuff on their websites, or shall I say MySpace pages (although might consist of good songwriting) mostly sound awful.

I think someone at the Weekly said: "Hey! let's suggest ten artists to follow for 2010... and let's include a gratuitous rapper, a gratuitous death-metal band and glam-rock band, a gratuitous blues-influenced band, a gratuitous electronica band, a gratuitous gal who plays acoustic stuff, and fill in the rest with mediocre pop bands!"

Writing for TheOpeningActs.com , I'd love to promote Vegas-based music but sadly, this town isn't good at birthing talented bands. I can only hope this changes.
