So THAT'S where the "Buss" nickname came from :) I have always wondered!

My grandfather actually crossed state lines to get me this soundtrack when he heard I wanted it back in the day and none were found in South Carolina :) I guess I am a fan too.

I remember sitting in the basketball coach's office in 10th grade looking at his classy leather bound editions of the classics. I told him I liked his book collection and he said, "Oh, those? The administrators put those in my office to make me look smart. I don't even know what they are." He said this very seriously with no sense of it being a joke. I was rather disappointed.

I think what we were trying to say is that local rock bands are finally getting national attention in larger numbers than ever before. We were not trying to say that the local music scene never existed before the current era, merely that bands like The Killers, Panic at the Disco and Escape the Fate have helped to put Vegas on the musical map. The bands who performed at this show were just a few of the many talented acts this town has to offer.

I loved the House of Blues show- you guys really rocked! It was fun to see the full on show after only catching an acoustic show before. Keep the good stuff coming!
