I really am liking all the articles you do each week Mr. Lax. I feel that I have to throw my opinion in the mix yes 2 days after V-Day but I feel compelled.
There's a couple problems why its hard to date here in Vegas. The main reason is because this is a city based on money, power, and beauty. Think about it for a second. This town is based on superficial-ity. I hear it all the time,"What can you do for me?" Im sorry I can't get you a VIP table or introduce you to so and so, so all I hear is get the F out of my face LOL. You will never, never, never see the Perfect 10 girl with a guy that works at McDonald's. Its always the guy who's a VIP host at "" club or the guy who ALWAYS gets his tables comped. The high rollers, VIP types, and the poeple that work in the "glamour" fields on the Strip have most of the luck. The rest of us have to pray that we get at least one person to think we're interesting.
Another reason, this town is very clique-y. For the most part, the people that we hang out and in some cases date are the same people we work with. Same club group, same store, same office. It'd be look at as weird if I just went up to someone at the store or the gym and just started a conversation.
