Go to ANY poker website and see what they say. Unknowns? Phil Ivey is considered the best in the world by OTHER pros. He is a sponsored pro. A member of Fulltilt which has commercials all the time. Yea, thats him. The stories about the 2 people who act like his parents and follow him around but arent....or that he used to play in AC with a fake ID...Or that he has won over $10mil, and has 7 bracelets already, 2 of which he won within the past 10 weeks...
WHAT HAPPENED TO QUALITY JOURNALISM
Speaking of which. Jeff Shulman, another relative unknown. He is like CEO of Card Player Magazine, which I HAVE heard of before, as oppose to LVWeekly. Im gonna guess it probably has a bigger reader base then this publication. Let alone the fact that guy has logged serious facetime on TV previously, much like Ivey.
Especially when so many other organizations do all the work for you anyway, you could spend as little as 30 seconds researching your article to support your statements.
I realize its not the point of your article, but get a clue.
Its called credibility. You lose it when you write things in absolutes which are inherently finite.
