I was a bit surprised that "The Arts" covered were only the visual arts and not the performing arts, especially as The Smith Center was mentioned. The Nevada Ballet Theatre, The Las Vegas Philharmonic, Opera Las Vegas and The Nevada Opera Theatre should have been included to provide a more complete description of the cultural scene in our city. All of the above mentioned are led by women, most of whom have a history of arts activism in Las Vegas.
