Just ate lunch there today. The caramelized onion and gorgonzola foccacia was so-so, as was the pesto pizza. The vegetali panini however, was delicious. Probably all the oil on the grilled veggies! Service was EXTREMELY slow with only one waitress who seemed very indifferent. Not sure if she was the wife/owner? She wasn't ever rude, but just didn't have any sense of urgency and seemed a bit scattered. Tables of other diners were left unbussed the entire time we were there. At one point she tidied up and piled up the dishes on the table, but then left them there. That was weird. This review is way overblown and not to be trusted. I had high expectations after reading it but really La Foccacia is just a regular neighborhood joint. A far cry from "the best new restaurant discovered"--the reviewer needs to get out more.....
