Las Vegas Weekly

I've read this book about 3 months ago, way before it got this much attention. Very well done. Very graphic, moving and powerful. But what I find shockingly appalling is that the critic gave Mccormick's book a 2 1/2 star rating. What the hell is up with that??? If I was Jane, I would be pissed out of my head. Sorry. Because this was a total 5 star book and the Weekly knows it. Obviously, the critic who had the nerve to give her book a poor rating DID NOT read the whole story from the very beginning to end. I mean I don't get it. How can you LV Weekly people miss out on the most horrifying and nauseating part of the book, when she performs a "do-it-yourself" abortion. No other prostitute biography can top that. If McCormick's non-fiction bio wasn't good enough for you LV Weekly people, then you absolutely don't know what a good piece of art is.
