Um, wentka, I have all of ELP's important (including Works II) permanently resident on my iPod. This little piece wasn't a review, it was a preview, letting people (many of whom, i assure you don't read ELP fansites) what has been going on with the tour. thanks for reading and commenting!

Did anyone out there see the show? If so, please comment here and tell us all how it went...
Thanks, Joe
Thanks for pointing that out, Biscuit. It's been corrected in the online version of the story. I'd still give Griffin Whiting the MVP, but Cameron Findley was splendid in "King Lear."
Khetanya Henderson's name was spelled incorrectly in my review, and has been fixed.

a thoughtful (and fast!) reader responded with this e-mail setting me straight about the "nevada's first" statement in the story:
Since you have only been here since 2008, I hope this information may help you. Nevada has several show choirs. Perhaps you should be more specific when you announce someone as the first. This group may be Nevada's first "private" show choir; of that I don't know.
Several of the high schools in this great county, including the one I graduated from in 2000, have show choirs. Nevada has one of the best music programs in the country, and this before the show "Glee" was a thought in a producer's mind.
I was one of the students who was in the Palo Verde High School Choir from the first year the school opened on the Bonaza campus in 1996. Vocal Infinity was born in 1997, a small group of kids who auditioned and acquired a spot in a select group to perform both a "show" set and a traditional choral set. We performed for the mayor to kick off the 2000 Census. During the holiday season, we performed around town at various casinos like Excalibur, Flamingo, and Ceasar's Palace...
It has been ten years since I graduated, and this group continues to thrive, without a private professional "vocal" coach and choreographer (the bonus is the kids do all this themselves, down to the costuming). The group as a whole has been apart of several out-of-state competitions and traveled to London, Paris, Italy, Estonia, and even Russia. This year's group auditioned for America's Got Talent by the producer's request...
This is the story of just my high school. In the Pop Show Revue, a show choir competition that is held locally between high schools, the students get a chance to meet students from all over the valley. Our arch-nemesis was Green Valley, they had an awesome show choir...
Should this little note pique your interest, you might want to contact Lesa Ramirez at Palo Verde High School. I know they have their end of the year show coming up; which I highly recommend you get tickets for, last year they did a great tribute to the Beatles. She is a wonderful lady and has been there since the beginning.
Thank you for your time and I hope you take some time to get to know the more about the wonderful music programs Clark County offers.
thanks k.c., for pointing readers to some other deserving vocal groups! joe
