A lot of us far away from home relish being alone on this Day simply due to a traumatic childhood. Sorry you had to work on Christmas but I once had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at a truck stop so yours was much more glamorous holiday and a money maker!
Simply say you are in the "Entertainment business", a showgirl, dancer, club hostess, Vegas hospitality industry, or something like Amish beekeeping. You are not the only 1 that cringes when people ask what I do.It's not just strippers. A lot of people are working jobs that we were not exactly born or educated to do. There are a lot of women that are not even remotedly close to being strippers in their job, but are taken for those in the trade. God forbid you wear a push up bra or sequined bustier then the populace thinks you are working it.Women that talk down your profession are just jealous that they dont have the looks or beauty or guts to do it.
Now I want to stay at the Palms now. With so many invitations to the casinos with the economic downturn its like Vegas is on sale...but tell me is it? Vegas will always have the draw of the flashing lights...but the sad underbelly of the city is that they want every dollar laid out on the casino floor.
