I would consider the content of this review asinine. I am glad that I went to the movie despite having read your discouraging review, but I am distressed that you may prevent people from seeing this wonderful film.

For months and months and months there are no interesting films shown in Las Vegas. Only fodder fo the brain-dead and brainwashed and finally there is a piece of art like Tetro and nobody will see it, because - as you pointed out so clearly - the studios do not like art. Art is not commercial. The only food for thought hammered into the brains of Americans is stupid comedy, endless car crashes, detonations, mutilations, fairy tales of rags-to-riches persons and jokes about bodily functions.

I still have to meet a so-called film critic, who is not in the pocket of the studios. Let us all unite to make the U.S. the country of the brain-dead and brainwashed. And who needs art? Schools should only teach football and texting on the cell phone.

At least you wrote about the film and did not ignore it , I give you one point for that.
