What are the current rules and regulations with respect to lap dances. I have heard a lot about this subject recently but am still unclear as to the difference between a 'citation' which it seems are handed out 'like party fliers' - nice Justice and the busts/arrests that went down at Deja Vu a few months back for 'solicitation' etc. What is the difference between the two? Is there a clearly laid out set of rules in order to protect the dancer from receiving the citation? Is the typical lapdance in Vegas a clear violation of the code resulting in a citation? I can only imagine how confusing this all is for the dancers...

Great read! I think I must be nieve when I read about the 'darkness' of some of these clubs. My usual experience is a bunch of guys out for a weekend to do some 'male bonding' and watch some T&A. A few drinks here and a few dances there and back to craps table to lose more cash. I never really considered the idea of customers as predators but certainly believe there are a few guys hanging around these clubs which the dancers wish would simply disapear. Maybe I need to look a little bit closer to my surroundings next time. It can't be easy to go through the motions of the VIP with all of the 'what if's' in the back of your head. I thought the bouncers were there to ensure than every dancer felt 100% safe and secure. I know I wouldnt want to be the guy who thought it would be a good idea to get frisky.
