My partner and I moved to Reno in Oct. 2006 from Palm Springs, CA. we had chosen to not do the domestic partner thing in hopes of getting the chance for the real McCoy marriage! Well on June 27, 2008 we said "I DO" in San Francisco. Our very next question was Whom do we see about challenging the Nevada State Law? Seriously! While you make some great points there are much more important issues like our legal rights being equal to ANY other married couples! We are one couple who is not afraid to stand up at the Nevada State Capitol or any court house and demand that our LEGAL marriage be recognized! It may just shorten the time it takes to get the state caught up with the real world! We were interviewed by ABC in S.F. and I am quoted as saying that I don't see why Nevada should have a problem with legalizing same GENDER marriage after they have legal prostitution this would be a step up the ladder morally speaking!
So if anybody knows a State politician, legal beagle, etc. who would care to represent us on behalf of ALL gay couples who want marriage legal in Nevada contact us through this articles comments!
Personally we LOVE this State and it's people!
