joemovie: Well, at least one person cared what he thought of the movie--you.
Please note that this isn't our list of the 10 best acts in Vegas; rather, these are performers that we felt were, for plenty of widely different reasons, poised for significant progress in the coming year. There's a difference.
We've only seen them in local Speedee Marts.
Metrecht: We've corrected that mistake. Thanks for the heads up.
Clarification: Mr. Anderson is a frequent contributor to our pages, and when he writes a review for us, he posts it to his site. We also have an agreement with him that if we need a review of a movie he's already written about, we can grab it from his site (and pay him, of course). I can't recall which situation applied here--whether we assigned the review of "Law Abiding Citizen" or grabbed it--but in either case, I assure you there's nothing shady going on. --Scott Dickensheets, editor
And we'd definitely miss you, realitycheck.
We almost included Oscar but then thought, hey, he's in *everything*! So not this time.
Just like Republicans do with Ensign! Isn't politics fun?
Well, we were upfront in the piece about being competitors, for one thing. For another, to us, it's more of an economy story---thanks to the recession, these people are apparently being jacked around. If they weren't media workers---if they were dealers being dicked over by a casino---you wouldn't ask "who cares?" You'd accept it as another tale of workers hurt by the economy. Same here. As for our skeletons, they all came out of the closet years ago.
It *is* a Ted Nugent song, however.
