Richard, I have to comment on your article about Wayne. I have been coming to Las Vegas just to see Wayne for over 32 years. I also have seen him other places that he has toured as well. I am not a member of the fan club, but I do consider myself as a friend of Wayne's. I would first like to say, that there has never, ever been a better performer in Las Vegas than Wayne. I guess that his why he is and always will be known as "Mr. Las Vegas". This man is a genuine human being that is the most humble, caring person I have ever met. He has given his whole life just about to performing and bringing in millions of tourists to see his show for 50 years now. Quite an accomplishment as far as I am concerned. As far as Tony Bennett still having a good voice, that didn't make alot of sense to me. Wayne has been perfoming in Las Vegas alone for 50 years, at first 6 shows a night, 6 nights a week until he started headlining his own show, which then went to 2 shows a night for 6 nights a week for years. The man has also toured and entertained our troops all over the world. This has to take its toll on anyone's voice. I personally enjoy every minute of every show that I have ever seen. Granted his voice may not be quite what it was in his earlier years but he is still the best live performer that ever stepped on a Las Vegas stage. He is very talented and yes, he does have the charisma! This man deserves more respect from the city that he resides in and his shows have always been in demand and always will be. He is a wonderful man, as well as his entire family. I just hope that the reporters will take all of what he has done for your city into consideration and have something positive to say about Wayne for once. I saw Wayne, on Oct. 17th in Tulsa, and he sounded better than he had in years. I love this man and respect him for who he is and the way he has always conducted himself, Wayne, is always going to pack a showroom, Thank you, Judy Youngblood Knight Tulsa, Ok.
