For years, visitors to the Las Vegas sign have turned the median around the famous landmark into a makeshift parking lot, leaving their cars wherever they want while they snap a Christmas-card worthy photo proving they came and they saw in good old Vegas. This week Clark County broke ground on a new parking lot to keep visitors and their vehicles safe while they take in a slice of local history.
