DUWOPRose has been involved in the Las Vegas hip-hop community for the past 10 years. When other deejays embraced digital music, she rejected it. Instead, she chose to stick with vinyl records, the medium that launched DJ culture decades ago. She has decided to leave Las Vegas, taking a piece of that history with her. Vinyl deejays like DUWOPRose are becoming a rare breed not only in Vegas, but also all over the world, driven toward extinction by the digital revolution.
