Bourbon Heritage Month continues with the Silverton's take on the classic Old Fashioned, traditionally made with an orange slice, lemon twist and maraschino cherries. "Created by master mixologist John DuPont, perfected by Joseph Hutchinson," says a Twin Creeks rep, the New Fashioned employs a lighter-style, more approachable bourbon, substituting the traditional sugar cube with simple syrup, and introducing fresh summer/fall crossover fruits.
