What do Petey, Big Petey, Regular Petey, Irregular Petey, Ortho Petey, Re Petey and Joey Bagga Donuts have in common? All are colorful characters that populate the weird world of wiseguy comic Dom Irrera (and don’t even get us started on Jimmy the Woman, Nicky Potato Salad, Squidlid, Muscles Marinara and Carmela Lemon Cola). Not that he’s strictly a character for character’s sake; the Letterman and Leno regular is more of a natural, highly detailed storyteller than your average showman.

Yes, the three-decade veteran is a natural fit for the Riviera Comedy Club, and sure, he’s typically there a few times a year, but between airings of his Supreme Court of Comedy and before releasing his Is This Thing On? DVD next month, nothing says “Vegas Holiday Season” like knowing the Dommer’s in town.
