Suggestion box: Enjoy free money

It’s a sorry time for our country, especially for our schools, but there’s a way to change that. If only anyone was taking advantage of it. The Public Education Foundation has scholarships available, but just reported that this year’s application total from Clark County was “disappointing,” with only 2,800 from a pool of 13,000 high school seniors. Take a tip from your friends at Weekly: Get off your butts, take 20 minutes to fill out an application, and enjoy some free money. Mom and Dad may not be able to afford college.
