Twix
Noir Bar, Luxor, $18
Thu, Oct 30, 2008 (midnight)
"Please take one" signs never work with trick or treaters, nor do they work with Twix. Too-too scrumptious, with layers of chocolate, caramel and crispy graham cracker cookie, Twix bars have been a staple on the Halloween diet since…the dawn of time, we suppose. Paying homage to the treat, Noir Bar mixologist/bartender Ken Hall—maker of all things dessert into drinkable delectables—once again hits a homer with his Twix, just one in a series of candy bar-inspired cocktails available this Halloweekend.
Ingredients:
1 oz heavy whipping cream
.75 oz Bailey's Caramel
.75 oz Godiva Milk Chocolate Liqueur
1.5 oz Alchemia Chocolate Vodka
Garnish:
.5 oz chocolate syrup
.5 oz caramel syrup
Handful crushed graham crackers
Method:
Add all liquid ingredients in a mixing glass and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass that has already been swirled with caramel and chocolate sauce inside, and rimmed with caramel and crushed graham cracker.
