The Las Vegas nightlife scene was deeply saddened by the news that one of our own, the Piercing Shop’s body-piercing specialist and former Icehouse Lounge 443 Friday event co-promoter Adam Stokes, 23, passed away Monday, April 20. Adam was always eager to be the first to stand up for any of his friends, no matter the reason or how big the potential fight, and was equally passionate about bringing everyone together for a great time.

While Adam’s sudden passing has left an emptiness in many of our hearts, his spirit lives on in his artistry with which we may remember him. Friends and family will celebrate Adam’s life on Sunday, April 26, at Anthem Park at dusk.

I did not konow Adam, but I am great friends with his mother up here in Carson City. I know that he meant the world to her and his family. I can never imagine a loss like this for I am a mother. I give my love and support to friends and family. It is never thought we can lose the most important in our lives, but that is out of our control. I pray for those who were touched by him. May he rest in peace.
