Pucker Up
Red Square Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay, $13
Thu, Aug 20, 2009 (midnight)
Far be it from me to drink or recommend anything with the word “pucker” in it. But I like my Krol vodka naked and straight out of my freezer; you might prefer yours in a high-end cocktail. Mimicking the flavors of Krol itself, James Deyro’s Pucker Up combines the flavors of ripe, sweet berries with tart citrus, like the perfect raspberry Lemon Drop. Of course, it also doesn’t hurt that during Reverse Happy Hour, Sunday through Wednesday from 11 p.m. to close, it’s only $6.50.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Krol Lemon-Raspberry
Vodka
0.5 oz. Triple Sec
Splash of Chambord
Splash of freshly squeezed lime juice
Method:
Rim a cocktail glass using a lemon and sugar; chill. Combine all ingredients over ice in a tin. Cover, shake hard and strain into the glass. Garnish with a fresh raspberry or lemon wedge.
