Suggestion box: Save victimless crimes for later

You know it’s either election time or that some politician is looking to distract the public from their latest indiscretion when a strip club gets busted for prostitution. So the recent announcement that 13 dancers were arrested at Deja Vu for soliciting prostitution is a complete head-scratcher. There are no elections on the horizon, and as far as we know, no one in Las Vegas city government has done anything wildly stupid lately. So here’s a small suggestion to the powers that be: Save the victimless crimes for later and maybe focus on, oh, real law enforcement.
