Buyi Zama, Rafiki in The Lion King: It takes Zama 30-40 minutes nightly to transform into her character, with whom she actually has a lot in common. “We both love Africa, neither one of us sweats the small stuff, and Rafiki knows who she is and lives in the moment, and I try to as well,” she says. “I also think she is very kind and loving, and so am I.”
