What is a VIP host if not your best friend when you have a client in town? When there is Patron to kill? When there’s a bachelorette party en route? Always greeting you at the rope with a smile—sure, he or she may have had a rough night: lost his keys, broke her Blackberry … again …

They work hard for the money, filling our clubs with the sexiest of the sexy, filling our glasses with the best of the bubbly, and making of our Vegas nights memories we may never fully recall!

And for that we thank them. The winners of the first annual VIP Host Awards and recipients of a brand new Blackberry Curve (who had to be in attendance at Sunday night’s party, hosted by yours truly at The Bank nightclub) are:

VIP host most likely to steal your customer: Branden Ring, Pure

Best independent VIP host: Ryan Weigle

Biggest VIP host jetsetter most likely to see the world on a customer's dime: Tiffany Masters

VIP host with the biggest black book: Shawn Chester, XS

VIP host most likely to show up to a meeting in last night's suit: Donnie Petullo, The Bank

VIP host most easy on the eyes: Patrick Frank, Tryst

Hottest VIP host newcomer: Angie Kimpton, Tryst

Most established VIP host: Shawn Chester, XS

Most charismatic VIP host: John Thomason, Tao Beach

Biggest VIP host industry supporter: Corey Negrelli, Wet Republic
