Beverly Poppe
Growing up in the small farming community of Scribner, Nebraska, Beverly Poppe learned from a young age the importance of finding an outlet to express herself. When she discovered photography at the age of 12, it was only a matter of time before that passion would propel her across the United States to follow a dream.
That journey has carried her from Santa Barbara, California—where Beverly graduated from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography with a degree in commercial advertising—to Las Vegas, where she currently resides as the staff photographer for Greenspun Media Group, working with publications such as VEGAS magazine and Las Vegas Weekly.
Straightforward and focused, Beverly exhibits an unflagging passion and creativity in her work and continually demonstrates a willingness to succeed under any circumstance. Throughout it all, she has kept close the Midwestern values of her upbringing as she continues her prolific career behind the lens.
Beverly's favorite movie is The Goonies.

- Uniformly interesting. Images of men in uniform make up a genre of their own, and Vegas takes that genre to a new level. Our photographer aims to highlight some of the national icons, such as firefighters, and then expand to the more specifically Vegas personalities who wear uniforms everyday: Caesar, Elvis. Take a look.
