Wet ‘n’ Wild opens its doors today.

Just in time for the Clark County School District's Spring Break recess, Wet 'n' Wild opens its doors for its second season today.

The west side water park is turning the water on from April 12 to 20, and will continue to operate on select weekends until May 24 when it assumes its regular schedule.

A number of activities will complement the thrills offered by the park's 25-plus slides throughout Spring Break week, as Wet 'n' Wild has planned a scavenger hunt, trivia games, and limbo, dancing and hula hoop contests. Activities run April 12-18, from noon to 5 p.m. The park will also feature a DJ-curated soundtrack throughout the week, as well as a free photo booth on April 12 and 13.

“We’re excited to open Wet ‘n’ Wild for our second season, and the timing with Spring Break provides a great opportunity to add even more fun for our guests,” said general manager Takuya Ohki in a statement. “Our younger attendees and teens who are on school vacation will particularly enjoy all the contests and activities, making their Wet ’n’ Wild Spring Break very memorable."
