Happy hour improved: T-Bones’ T-Time

50 plates and drinks for $5

Image

It’s T-time, but there won’t be any Earl Grey or dainty sandwiches with the crusts cut off. Leave those things for people just pretending to be hungry. You need bacon popcorn, pulled pork sliders, chicken pot pie and chili cheese tater tots. You need a daily happy hour that includes specialty cocktails like the white cosmopolitan with white cranberry juice and rock candy syrup or the ultimate old fashioned with Marker’s Mark, fresh orange, pineapple and cherry. You need beer like Arrogant Bastard Ale from Stone or Dogfish Head’s 90 Minute IPA, and you need each one for $5. Locals in Summerlin already head to T-Bones Chophouse at Red Rock for one of the best deals in the Valley every day from 5-7 p.m. at its T-Time Happy Hour, and everyone else is about to start fighting them for space at the bar. The menu is packed with 50 food and beverage items all served at full size, full strength and many for less than half of their normal prices. The only question left: How well do you box out?
